1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OdinoLabel (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

OdinoLabel is a professional label design application for macOS that allows users to create, edit, and print custom labels with:

• Text elements with full formatting options
• Barcodes (EAN-13, Code128, QR Code, PDF417, Aztec, DataMatrix)
• Shapes (rectangles, ellipses, lines)
• Professional symbol library (88 symbols across 4 categories)
• Pre-designed templates (10 templates)
• Serialization for batch printing
• Multi-column label layouts
• PDF export functionality

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use OdinoLabel for your personal or commercial purposes, according to your subscription tier.

4. Subscription Tiers and Pricing

4.1 Free Trial

• Duration: 14 days from first launch
• Features: Full access to all Professional features
• Automatic expiration: App becomes restricted after trial period
• No payment required

4.2 Standard Plan

• Monthly: €9.99/month (auto-renewable)
• Lifetime: €149.99 (one-time purchase)
• Features include:
  • Unlimited symbol access (all 88 symbols)
  • Serialization (numeric, alphabetic, alphanumeric)
  • All 10 pre-designed templates
  • All barcode types
  • PDF export
  • Multi-column layouts

4.3 Professional Plan

• Monthly: €19.99/month (auto-renewable)
• Lifetime: €299.99 (one-time purchase)
• Availability: Business accounts only
• Features include:
  • All Standard features
  • Priority support
  • Advanced business features

4.4 Easy OEM Licenses

Special licenses bundled with thermal printer purchases from authorized partners.

• Easy TSC: For TSC printer owners
• Easy Zebra: For Zebra printer owners
• Easy Brother: For Brother printer owners
• Easy Epson: For Epson printer owners

Easy OEM Restrictions:

• Limited to 5 symbols per category (20 total)
• Serialization not available
• 4 basic templates only (Shipping Basic, Product Label, Price Tag, QR Basic)
• Printer brand verification may apply

5. Template System

OdinoLabel includes 10 pre-designed templates:

Standard Templates (Standard/Professional only)

Templates are provided as starting points and may be freely modified.

6. Symbol Library

OdinoLabel includes a professional symbol library with 88 symbols:

• Chemical symbols: 9 symbols (GHS hazard pictograms)
• Safety symbols: 16 symbols (workplace safety)
• Recycling symbols: 18 symbols (material identification)
• Washing symbols: 45 symbols (textile care)

Symbol Access by Tier

7. Document Compatibility System

Documents created with higher-tier features may not open with lower-tier licenses:

• Easy OEM users: Cannot open documents containing serialization or more than 5 symbols per category
• Standard users: Full document compatibility
• Professional users: Full document compatibility

This ensures documents are only editable with appropriate license levels.

8. Payment and Billing

• All payments are processed through Apple’s App Store
• Prices are in the currency of your App Store region
• Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation available through Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policy

9. License Activation and Verification

9.1 Account Requirement

• A user account is required to use OdinoLabel
• Account creation available via email/password or Google Sign-In
• One active session per account

9.2 License Verification

• Licenses are verified online through our secure servers
• An internet connection is required for initial activation
• Offline usage is permitted for up to 7 days (grace period)
• After 7 days offline, internet connection is required to re-verify license

9.3 Hardware Identification

• Your device’s hardware identifier is used to prevent unauthorized license sharing
• This identifier is securely stored and used solely for license verification
• You may transfer your license to a new device through your account settings

9.4 Easy OEM License Activation

• Easy OEM licenses are activated using a unique license code
• Format: XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (where XXX indicates printer brand)
• Each code can only be activated once
• License is tied to your account upon activation

10. Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain full ownership of all labels, designs, and content you create
• We do not claim any ownership of your projects or designs
• Your content remains private and stored locally on your device

Our Content

• OdinoLabel software, design, symbols, and templates are our property
• Symbols are licensed for use within OdinoLabel only
• You may not extract, copy, or redistribute app assets
• You may not reverse engineer or decompile the application

11. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Share or transfer license codes to unauthorized users
• Attempt to bypass license verification systems
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Create competing software based on our features
• Use symbols outside of OdinoLabel application
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

12. Data and Privacy

• Your projects are stored locally on your device
• Account information is securely stored in our systems
• License verification requires periodic internet connection

13. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Barcode accuracy depends on proper configuration. Users are responsible for verifying barcode scannability before production use.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time
• You may cancel subscriptions through Apple ID settings
• We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately
• Your locally stored projects remain accessible but editing features will be restricted

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• In-app notifications
• Our website
• Email (if provided)

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Milan, Italy.
